How to Make

  • Pour the rice into a sieve and rinse in cold water. Place the rice in a saucepan and add the remaining ingredients.
  • Put on a high heat and bring to the boil. Stir, then turn down the heat and simmer for an hour.
  • Stir the rice every ten minutes. Once cooked turn off the heat remove the cinnamon stick and cool for ten minutes.
  • Finally, serve in dessert dishes, top with jam, almonds flakes and sprinkle over some brown cane sugar.
